Follow a burlesque workshop

One of my good friends is getting married in 1 month and I put myself upon the tasks of organizing her a bachelorette party. I'm somebody that loves to do things for other people or surprise them so that's why I gave myself the task of organizing it. For me a bachelorette party should be a day filled with a mix of adventure, food, drinking and celebrating womanhood. So that's why I wanted a workshop as one of the activities. So I was thinking about some different kind of stuff. I could make it spicy (think about a boudoir shoot) but then again not everybody knew each other so that could be the start of a very awkward situation. So I had to find something that  wouldn't be too awkward, but would still need you to call on your inner woman and sexiness. So then I found Burlesque. My inspiration came from the movie itself. If you haven't watched the movie, shame on you and go watch it now. Well maybe not now, after you read the blog, but do watch it!!

Go kickboxing

This one has been high on my list. I've always had an interest in kickboxing and those high-intensity sports. Not because I'm highly competitive or like to be yelled at and die sporting, but because I'm always in awe at how people give themselves in these sports.

Learn yoga

So I've always wanted to learn yoga for one sole reason: getting to touch my toes standing up. I'm the least flexible person so Yoga is like a big challenge.

Get your future read

So today was the day I'd been looking forward to the whole week. The past week had been a really bad one. I was home with covid and I was really sick. Like the kind of sick where you can't leave your bed for days and you don't even have the energy to eat. So I was glad that I had this event to look forward to, finally out of quarantine and back among the living. Well, sort off if you know what event it was. So I went to BOOM today. An expo about spirituality where there were plenty of tarot card readers, mediums, and other kinds of people. I've always been interested in this kind of stuff. I'm not so sure I believe in everything, but I just like the mood and the vibe. I have my tarot cards at home and I just love playing around with them. It's more the thought of wanting to believe in and wanting to be able to have something more in this world.

Go to a nude wellness

Okay, so I'm not prude or anything, but getting naked in front of strangers gives me a little (a lot) of stress. So this one was a big one for me. Gladly I didn't have to conquer this one alone as my friend Kathleen joined me. We planned a trip to the wellness together where everything was in the nude and mixed. So she already had some experience with the place which gave me some kind of reassurance and I was glad I had her to distract me from the fact nobody was wearing clothes.

Attend a High school reunion

So this happened last week. I had a high school reunion. I don't have a lot of contact anymore with the people I knew from high school. You know, life happens and once you get to college people just go their own way. So I was glad when 2 people from my high school organised the reunion. I can't believe it has been 11 years already. Damn I'm getting old.

Get a tattoo

So I have to admit I cheated a little bit on this one. I got this tattoo last year, so actually it isn't something I completed after I created my bucket list. The fact I still crossed it off is because I always wanted a tattoo since I was 16 or something. So it actually was the first bucket list item I ever had.
